A 1-week Game Jam to challenge my skills yet another time 😅

A lightning-fast roguelite take on blackjack. Win hands, pick boons, and occasionally accept a god’s bargain—Zeus may even reveal the dealer’s hole card. Build toward 21, manage the shoe, and push luck through short, punchy runs.

Goal:
Get as close to 21 as possible without going over. Beat the dealer’s hand to win.

Card Values:

• Number cards = their number (2–10)

• Face cards (J, Q, K) = 10

• Ace = 1 or 11 (whichever helps you most)

Gameplay:

1. Both you and the dealer start with 2 cards.

2. You can choose to:

   • Hit → Take another card.

   • Stand → Keep your hand as it is.

3. If your total goes over 21, you bust and lose the round.

4. When you stand, the dealer reveals their hand and draws until reaching at least 17.

5. Closest to 21 without busting wins.

Special Rule:

• If you’re dealt an Ace + a 10-value card at the start → Blackjack! 🎉 (Instant win unless the dealer also has one).

Roguelike Aspect:

• After each turn  you get the chance to choose between 2 Boons which will help you a lot through the gameplay. In rare occasions you can even acquire a God Power!
• The Scry ability gives you a hint about the next card on top of the Deck
